Delvaux and Ben Storms are aligned in their devotion to craftsmanship and their strong commitment to materials and rigorous processes. Their collaboration is therefore a celebration of these shared values, bringing together both long-standing and contemporary Belgian creativity with global appeal.  

At Delvaux's invitation, Storms reinterpreted his In Hale series into a monumental installation —icons intended for Delvaux's unique and renowned habitat with branches worldwide. Ultimately intended as a display, Storms rephrases his concept as sculptural supports that literally highlight what they present. But, as always, this function is a surplus, complementing but never limiting the design's monumental capacity. 

The In Hale series is characterised by seemingly airy pillows of inflated steel. This is achieved by a process that enhances its own particularities and seduces the eye in a stimulating way. The integrated light adds an extra dimension. The result is an inner glow that complements the already reflective qualities of the stainless steel.
